This policy explains how ForestIQ (“ForestIQ”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit forestiq.co or contact us through it. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

When you book a demo, we collect the details you enter in the form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, company and any message you choose to include. If you email or call us, we keep the details you share in that conversation.

When you visit the website, we collect information about your visit through Google Analytics, such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (city or region) and the type of device and browser you use. Our hosting provider also processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.

- Cloudflare hosts the website and processes form submissions.
- Postmark delivers form submissions to our team by email.
- Google Analytics measures website usage.
These providers may store and process information outside New Zealand. They are only permitted to use it to provide their services to us, and we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage our relationship with you, or as required by law.

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing support@forestiq.co. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

The website may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their privacy policies.

This policy covers the forestiq.co website. The ForestIQ platform and portal will have their own terms and privacy information when they become available.
